Review: Balloon Copter by Quack
STEM Fun for Many Ages
The balloon copter is a great value STEM Toy by Quack. It is from the same family of learning toys as the Balloon Racers that we recently reviewed.
The Balloon Copter can be found in many stores, and you will be sure to find it under $10, which is excellent value, as it will provide hours of fun for your kids.
This type of STEM toy is suitable for kids over eight; however, you can easily demonstrate the toy to younger kids. We have a 2yr old, and he loves watching this balloon copter fly. Each age can present different learning opportunities.
Using the Balloon Copter
The balloon copter is easy to use. Just assemble the three blades, blow up the balloon and attach it. Once connected, release your grip on the balloon and watch the balloon fly. The balloon creates thrust and the blades spin causing it to fly in a straight line. Please note: this is an outdoor activity unless you have really high ceilings.
What's in the Box?
There isn't much to the Balloon Copter. In the box, you will find everything you need to build the copter:
3 x Blades
1 x Blade Mount
2 x Balloons
1 x Balloon Mount
You only need one balloon to use this copter, but they supply a spare.
Our Review Opinion
We love these sorts of STEM toys. They are cheap, easy to use, and there are no batteries or fuels needed to run it. Given the low price, there isn't anything to complain about here. It works perfectly, it is entertaining for the kids, and that's all you can ask for. We give the Balloon Copter by Quack a 4.5 out of 5.
