Get Your Kids Exploring

If you are looking for a great activity to do with the kids, the Navir Mega Bug Viewer might be for you. I know our kids loved it.

Get the kids outside and exploring their surrounds with this easy to use and well-constructed bug viewer. My kids loved looking at bugs and exploring. They are a little young to dive deep into biology, but they were fascinated. Proving that this bug viewer is suitable for a range of ages, just the level of supervision changes with their age.

Overview of the Navir Mega Bug Viewer

The Mega Bug Viewer is a really simple, but well-made STEM toy. Made in Italy, this bug viewer is a large round clear container with a push-on magnifying lid. Simply catch a bug and place it in the container, and view it through the lid. You can also flip the container, so the hole is at the bottom and view bugs and insects without removing them from their environment.

Even though this is a called a bug viewer, do not limit it's uses. We used it to view all sorts of exciting things: Rocks, bark, plants and more.

Our Review/Opinion

The Mega Bug Viewer is a great STEM tool. It is simple and easy to use; It doesn't need batteries, and kids love it. The price for a plastic cup seems a little high, however, the quality feels good, and it is made in Italy. Our kids loved this toy, and we have it in our STEM stash to get out on occasion. We rate the Mega Bug Viewer 4.5 out of 5.
